Aida Tomescu on show in TENT in Aotearoa New Zealand 4-7 November

“Fox Jensen Sydney and Fox Jensen McCrory are taking part in TENT from 4-7 November. In the absence of being able to ‘go big’ in the G A Harris metal fabricating factory in Bromley, Fox Jensen & Fox Jensen McCrory have gone big online, presenting large scale works by British painter Erin Lawlor, German sculptor Jan Albers, American painters, Liat Yossifor and Winston Roeth, Australians, Aida Tomescu, Tomislav Nikolic and Jenny Topfer, and New Zealand painter Geoff Thornley. The gallery will be also presenting one jewel like piece by British artist Jane Bustin.

This was to be the first opportunity for audiences in Christchurch to see works by many of these artists presented publicly and whilst works by Nikolic, Roeth, and Knoebel are already in private collections in Christchurch, seeing works drawn from such a breadth of countries would have been an exceptional opportunity.

Whilst impossible to envisage the scale in which these works would have been viewed, we invite you to use your visual imagination and fingers crossed for 2022.

All presentations will be previewed on www.tent.art at 2:00PM next Thursday 4 November, followed by in-person live exhibitions from Friday 5 – Sunday 7 November.⁠
