Celebrating 11 years of the Wangaratta Art Gallery Collection showcasing works collected by the Gallery. The Collection began in 2004 and has been supported by Council enabling the Gallery to develop a collection comprising original works of art and craft of excellent quality. The biennial, Wangaratta Contemporary Textile Award also brings new works to the collection as is a major event attracting nation-wide interest and involvement. Many of the new acquisitions have been donated via the Federal Government’s Cultural Gifts Program.  This exhibition highlights some of our collection and is enhanced by loaned works from key artists in our collection.
